Ways in which the decisions of corporations rtc and governments they affect users? Advox the project Global Voices wants to learn what says your network of bloggers, activists and social media experts, as an article or short essay.
Under the GV Summit 2015, we invite partners and members of our community to write and send articles explaining in simple language, in reality the effects of policies relating to the Internet on the citizens of a country or a particular region as a whole. The device can be made by a State, an international regulatory agency or a large technology company. Explain how this policy affects rtc citioyens (activists, bloggers, journalists or others) who use the Internet to increase public access to information, ensuring that governments are accountable, or promote human rights.
Since state monitoring programs to censorship of social media, rtc the right to oblivion net neutrality, government, corporate and regulatory profoundly affect what we can or can not do online. Our community rtc knows only too well; we also know that for a light violation, rtc arrest, or to truly see the origins and implementation of a set of measures, it is essential to examine rtc the political and economic life of this country, its historical background. We are in the best position to tell these stories.
Rather than a technical or abstract analysis, what we are looking, they are talking to explain the many obstacles to freedom of expression and protection of privacy online, within reach of understanding of all active Internet means .
This contest aims to amplify the voices and views of our community rtc to help make the world see the effects of policies on the Internet. Our goal is to reward rtc outstanding writings and reflections at a premium and recognition at Global Voices Summit 2015. The winners will receive 1000 USD (1st prize), 500 USD (2nd prize) and 250 USD (3rd prize).
We are fortunate to be joined in this competition rtc by a panel of advocates of an open Internet and policy experts. The competition is funded through a generous contribution from Google, which is one of the sponsors of the Global Voices Summit 2015.

We will publish articles continuously on the website Global Voices Summit 2015, under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 license.
