Marginalized and anonymous, young Burt decides to become a magician, magicians guided by the set of his idol, Rance Hollaway (Alan Arkin). How without a partner could not get very far, Burt befriends Anton, who would become his assistant.

The actors were good to very good, and when I say good I mean short performance by Jim Carrey, minerals who added a little salt and pepper the film, so as to relieve the disaster.
