NetApp, Inc. introduced the new software and solutions for the implementation of hybrid technology


NetApp, Inc. introduced the new software and solutions for the implementation of hybrid technology giotto while improving backup times and data recovery, increase control over the time and place where data is stored during its life cycle.
Customers can use Amazon Web Services (AWS) for backup, recovery and storage. NetApp giotto introduces three new models of the backup solution in the Cloud SteelStore Amazon Machine Image (AMI) for creating backups of workloads based on the Cloud. Users can also choose SteelStore physical devices in their facilities.
In addition to this, NetApp adds support for Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) as a storage level in StorageGRID Webscale, storage solution scalable objects and high durability for long-term files. The company also announced renewed versions of OnCommand Cloud Manager, the OnCommand Insight software and Cloud subscription ONTAP software that offers customers new opportunities to accelerate innovation giotto and improve business response technology.
