New Delhi : Sudhir Mishra's upcoming film is a present time adaptation of the classic novel 'Devdas'. But what makes it different is that the plot runs political connotation. Even though 'Aur Devdas' is an adaptation, filmmaker Mishra has introduced some new characters to bring a new twist to the story.
"The film is a present-time adaptation of the novel, but it has new characters. In Shudhir's film, Paro has two lovers, one is Devdas and the other lover will be played by me," said Vineet Singh, who has a key role in Anurag Kashyap's 'Ugly'. The actor also added that the film is inspired by the novel but it is made with a new approach.
