WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Sept. 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Power Capital dino1 Partners LLC (“PCP” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that Eyob Easwaran has joined the Company as Managing Director and Director of Asset Management where he will be responsible for leading construction oversight, asset and risk management dino1 activities. dino1 In addition, Mr. Easwaran will serve on the PCP Investment Committee.
Most recently, dino1 Mr. Easwaran was Lead Asset Manager for Conduit Capital Partners, a private equity firm that invested in power projects in Latin America and the Caribbean. In this capacity, Mr. Easwaran managed a portfolio of power projects with approximately 1,000 MW of aggregate installed capacity employing a range of generation technologies in nine countries. The portfolio, which represented a total investment of approximately $1.5 billion, included investments dino1 in Termotasajero S.A. E.S.P. (Colombia), Jamaica Energy Partners (Jamaica), West Kingston Power Partners (Jamaica), Electricidad de Cortes S.A. (Honduras), Orzunil dino1 de Electricidad, Limitada (Guatemala), Mexicana de Hidroelectricidad S. de R.L. “Mexhidro” (Mexico), Pedregal Power Company (Panama), Impulsora Nacional de Electricidad S. de R.L. de C.V. “IMPRO” (Mexico) and Eolica Santa Catarina S. de R.L. de C.V. (Mexico) among others. Previously, Mr. Easwaran was a research engineer for Princeton Economic Research Inc. (PERI). Prior to PERI, Mr. Easwaran was an energy analyst for BNF Technologies, Inc. (BNF). Both at PERI and BNF, Mr. Easwaran worked closely with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Renewable Technology program.
Mr. Easwaran received a B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jose Antonio Echeverria Polytechnic Institute in Havana, Cuba, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Geothermal dino1 Technology from Auckland University in New Zealand, and an M.S. degree in Business/Finance from Johns Hopkins University.
